Q: What do SLC Legislators do professionally?
A: No state in the South has a full-time Legislature, so for the most part, Legislators leave behind full-time professions to serve.  Legislators bring a wide range of experience to their roles in state capitals.  Nearly one-quarter are in business, including the self-employed, business owners, and employees of private companies.
