Question:
How much funding did the SLC states receive under federal programs in FY 2001 (actual) and FY 2002 and FY 2003 (estimated)?

The Budget Information for States (BIS) report provides state-by-state actual obligations and estimated data for the major federal formula grant programs to state and local governments.  This is the primary federal document containing how much state and local governments receive under each federal program every year.  The most recent report was issued for federal fiscal year 2003 (October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2003).  In early March 2003, the White House's Office of Management and Budget announced that this annual report will be discontinued starting federal fiscal year 2004.
